SUMMER SET TO ARRIVE IN DONEGAL – IN SEPTEMBER!

first_imgAFTER a wash-out August, summer is set to finally arrive in Donegal – just as September begins, forecasters say.In fact fans travelling up to Croke Park on Sunday can expect 22C and sunshine.Donegal may be hit by rain however on Sunday in what Met Eireann forecaster Siobhan Ryan described as a ‘disappointing day’ for the North West with the rest of the country enjoying sunshine. But early next week she says we too will be able to bask in some hot weather with temperatures set to hit 23C by midweek. After a month where many families were back lighting fires, the return of a high pressure system bringing warm weather will disappoint children returning to school but will be welcome by most.Irish Weather Online report “a generally rather warm pattern with a reasonable amount of fair weather for the first week of September, warm southeast flow could boost temperatures into mid 20s.”Bundoran can expect this sort of weather next week,The warm air will be dragged northwards over Ireland by the remnants of Hurricane Cristobal which is bound for Iceland early next week. England is set to see temperatures rise to 26C or 27C – and anyone planning a trip to Spain next week should note temperatures in some resorts could hit a stifling 38C. SUMMER SET TO ARRIVE IN DONEGAL – IN SEPTEMBER! was last modified: August 28th, 2014 by John2Share this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window) Tags:donegalhot weatherMet EireannSiobhan Ryansummerlast_img read more
