Pink Talking Fish Welcomes Hayley Jane For David Bowie Covers & More In Vermont [Watch]

first_imgHybrid tribute fusion band Pink Talking Fish settled into Nectar’s last night, playing the first of three shows at the famed Burlington, VT venue. For the occasion, Pink Talking Fish decided to keep fans in suspense for each night, not revealing the themes until they took to the stage. Night one was thusly revealed to be “PTF Is Bowie,” as the band worked songs by David Bowie into their familiar repertoire of Pink Floyd, Talking Heads and Phish.They also welcomed some special guests for the occasion, as singer Hayley Jane helped out on lead vocals for a handful of songs, and the band also featured saxophonist Matt Dolliver. Below, you can see a couple of videos from the night, including a duet on “Under Pressure” with Hayley Jane and keyboardist Richard James. That song segues into the Talking Heads’ hit “Take Me To The River,” and you can also see a video of “Life On Mars?” with Hayley Jane on vocals, below. Mungion Announce 20+ Date Fall Headlining Tour

The band will begin at the newly formed Globe Hall in Denver, CO, play dates throughout Nebraska, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Ohio, with several stops in their home state of Illinois, before heading East to take on Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusets, finally concluding their run in Vermont. These dates are in addition to their already scheduled appearances at Night Lights Music Festival in Sherman, NY, the inaugural Canyon Jam at the Mishawaka Amphitheatre in Bellevue, CO, and Thornville, OH’s Resonance Music and Arts Festival.Mungion Showcases Tight Jamming On Ambitious Debut Album, ‘Scary Blankets’ [Listen]The 4-piece has been causing quite the stir since their inception in 2015, consistently selling out their hometown shows within a matter of hours. Argentinian club celebrate Man United defender return

Rojo has not featured for United since November, and has now sealed a move away to get some game-time before the end of the season. Announcing the move with an emotional video featuring clips of him playing for the club, Estudiantes wrote: ‘You always return to the places where you were happy. Because of the sense of belonging, it’s stronger. ‘Your dream and that of the Pincha family come true. We meet again. Welcome and thanks for coming back, Marcos. We welcome you with the heart.’ Former Manchester United midfielder Juan Sebastian Veron is the current chairman of Estudiantes, and the move will give Rojo the chance to claim his place in the Argentina squad for the upcoming Copa America.
